Easily move or copy multiple items to a different location within your Workspace or an entirely different Workspace. The move feature moves the folders/files to the selected destination. The copy feature duplicates the folders/files and places the copies in the selected destination. The copy feature has a limit of 125 items at a time.
Note: Please review the Understanding Roles and Permissions - Files section to determine user roles that are eligible to use the Move/Copy feature.
Complete the following to move or copy folders and files.
- First, select the checkbox on the left side of the items you want to move or copy.
- Next, click the Move/Copy button on the toolbar to display the Move/Copy dialog box. Select the folder location or workspace and click the Move or Copy button. The copy feature has a limit of 125 items at a time.
Tip: You can use a Workspace like a template. Create one with the folders and files you want to start with. When you create new Workspaces, go back to your template, select all the folders, and copy them to the new Workspace.
