With Onehub's Google integration, new documents can easily be created right within your Workspaces. The first step is to connect your Google account to Onehub. You must connect your Google account to use this integration.
Note: The Google integration is disabled by default when the Custom Domain and White Label feature is enabled. This integration can be enabled by going to Account & Billing > Integrations page.
Creating a New Document
- Click the Create button in the toolbar of the Files page inside your Workspace. Select the type of Google file you want to create: Google Doc, Google Sheet, or Google Slide.
- Enter the file's name/title and click the Create button.
- After a moment, a Google document editor will be displayed where you can start editing your new file.
- When you are finished with your new document, click the Save Changes button to add the new file to your workspace.
Editing a Document
In addition to creating new documents, Onehub's Google Workspace integration also allows you to edit your existing documents. After connecting your Google Account, an Edit button will be displayed on the file preview page of supported documents.
Collaborators and above can edit any file. Creators can only edit their own files. If you do not see the Edit button, you'll need to contact your administrators to request that they change your permissions.
- Click Edit and select Google Docs, or the appropriate Google Workspace app, to load the Google Workspace app to start editing the file.
- When you are happy with your changes, click the Save Changes button to update the file in your workspace. If you would like to abandon your edits, click the Discard Changes button instead.
