Onehub offers the ability to have your Workspaces be accessible from a custom domain. Account Administrators can add this feature in the Account & Billing settings. When a custom domain is in use, your users will see your website domain in the URL instead of ws.onehub.com.
Enabling a custom domain is something that must be finalized by a Onehub Support representative, but we need your help with some of the setup. The process is very quick and typically can be completed in 1-2 business days. It requires you to set up a CNAME that will point your domain to our servers behind the scenes.
Note: Adding a custom domain may negatively impact the Microsoft Office, Google Workspaces, and DocuSign integrations.
Onehub Custom Domain Setup
The first step is defining your custom domain in the Account & Billing > Custom Domain & White Label Settings. Once this is completed, you will receive an email with the information you will need to enter to set up the CNAME with your domain registrar. Our team will receive an email to complete the custom domain setup when the CNAME record is properly configured with your domain registrar.
Note: Submitted domains must be unused (a domain that is not already being used for an active website). While subdomains are not required, they are recommended. An example of a subdomain would be "subdomain.example.com" instead of "example.com".
- To get started, click on your profile image in the top-right and select Account & Billing.
- Click the Custom Domain & White Label section.
- Enter a domain or subdomain in the Domain / Common Name field and click the Activate button.
- The white label options to Hide Onehub Branding become available once you activate your custom domain. Check the Hide Onehub Branding if you want a fully customized experience. The Show Account Logo on Home checkbox is not available until you click the Hide Onehub Branding.
- Once you are finished, click the Save Changes button.
- You will receive an email similar to the one below after you click the Activate button. You will need to create a CNAME record with your domain provider as the next step. The Onehub team will automatically receive an email to finish the custom domain setup once the CNAME record is properly configured.
Changing Your Custom Domain
You can change your custom domain on the Custom Domain & White Label page. Changing a completed custom domain will require additional work to reconfigure by the Onehub team. You can change your custom domain multiple times before you create your CNAME record with your domain provider, and the Onehub team completes the configuration.
- Access the Custom Domain & White Label page to update the custom domain.
- Uncheck the Enable Custom Domain checkbox and click the Save button.
- Update the custom domain URL and click the Activate button.
